Nick Faulkner – Engage and Support – Nick always exemplifies our core values, but this extreme example stuck out to me. Nick has an employee at his store who travels roughly 20 miles a day to get to work, they use their vehicle to transport their children to and from school, their car is their life blood to put it mildly. Nick noticed the tires were in need of replacement and inquired with the employee to find out if they were aware. They were in fact aware, and the concern was causing major stress as they did not have the funds immediately available to address the concern. Nick went straight to action; I mean action by going into his own pocket to get tires for the vehicle with no expectation of being paid back. Because the cores run so strong in this store, Nick’s sales team caught word of what was happening, they all got together and pitched in to get the needed tires so no one person had to shoulder the burden. This level of compassion and care for others is humbling to me and just one of the many examples of living our core values Nick and his team practice daily.
This is the second time Nick has been “Caught Being YAG” and he is absolutely deserving of it.
Congratulations Nick!
This story warms my heart. I’ve know Nick for about 15 years now and I would say , this is Nick just being himself. If the core values didn’t exist, this is just how this guy lives. What a stud! proud to call you my friend.
