Celebrating unique vehicles for a cause, the Young Automotive Group’s local Collision Center operation and GMC dealership will host a car and bike show as well as a Trunk-or-Treat on Oct. 25 to benefit Burley High School’s agriculture department.

“Our team’s thrilled to see what residents bring to this event,” said Austin Bowers, shop manager for Young Collision Center. “This area has a rich history, and that extends to the automotive and powersports world. We know there are incredible cars and motorcycles in Burley, and we can’t wait to see them.”
Beginning staging efforts at 9 a.m., the event will be hosted in a shared lot between the Overland Avenue businesses. Free to participate in and attend, patrons will be able to walk through the vehicles as well as order from food trucks on site. Judges will begin to assess the cars and motorcycles at 10 a.m., and will announce award winners at 2 p.m. Those attending the show will also have the opportunity to receive prizes by participating in raffles.
Vehicle entries will be accepted the day of, and participants can register prior to the event on Young Collision Center’s website. Following the show’s conclusion, the Collision shop and Young GMC Burley will begin their Trunk-or-Treat at 6 p.m., which will feature decorated machines as well as special vendors.
“Whenever we host an event like this, we strive to find ways to increase meaning,” said Bowers. “These occasions are fun to be involved in, and part of that is because attending leads to good things. The agriculture department at Burley High School plays a significant role in helping students pursue a passion, and we’re eager to support it through this endeavor, as well as others in the future.”
All proceeds from the raffles will be dedicated to Burley High School following the event. Young Collision Center and Young GMC Burley will make additional donations as well.
A presence in the community for approximately 30 years, the Young Automotive Group oversees four operations in Burley, including a powersports dealership as well as their Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat location. One of the company’s four locations for collision repair, Young Collision Center in Burley handles both retail and dealer work in the area.
“What we love about being in Burley is how special this community is,” said Matthew Rosenlund, general manager of Young GMC Burley. “There’s a lot of camaraderie amongst residents and other businesses, which has allowed us to develop outstanding relationships. We’re grateful for this opportunity to team up with meaningful partners, and give back to a place we love.”
