Celebrating the completion of their facility on Main Street in Layton, the Young Automotive Group will host a grand opening ceremony at their new Young Kia location on Nov. 6 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

The event — which will feature games, food trucks, a ribbon-cutting, a DJ and a vehicle giveaway — will begin with speeches from Young Automotive Group executives, mayor Joy Petro and Davis Chamber of Commerce president Angie Osguthorpe. Representatives from local organizations will also be in attendance, including chamber of commerce spikers.
“What makes this grand opening special is the opportunity to celebrate with a community we’ve loved serving for decades,” said Neli Asaa, general manager of Young Kia. “Our dealership is proud to be in Davis County, and we’re excited to introduce our following to this new location. We see this destination enhancing our customer experience in amazing ways, and can’t wait for what the future holds.”

Throughout the grand opening, the dealership will invite attendees to fill out a form that will enter them to win a one-year lease on a new Kia. Young Kia will also offer oil change and tire rotation services for $69.95 all day to those who visit their location.
A part of the Young Automotive Group since 1997, construction on Young Kia’s new facility was performed by PJF Corporation. Their former building — a short distance away from where they stand now — will become a new home for the company’s Audi Layton location.

“We’re fortunate to have developed in several ways this year, and love that we get to celebrate one of our last major achievements of 2026 in Layton,” said Spencer Young Jr., president of the Young Automotive Group. “This has been a special home city for us, and a hub that’s been central to our growth. The new Young Kia location will help us serve our customers better, our employees better and our communities better. It’ll play a significant role in our future.”
Young Kia’s grand opening is free to attend and open to the public. Updates can be found on their website, Facebook and Instagram pages.
