Engaging with the community at their recently acquired dealership, Young Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Riverdale will host their first annual Trunk-or-Treat event on Oct. 25 at 11 a.m.

“Occasions like these are incredibly meaningful to operations like ours,” said Jacob Sobers, general manager of Young Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Riverdale. “They allow us to build relationships outside of the showroom, as well as highlight our awesome facility and inventory. We’re grateful for the welcomes we’ve received since news of the ownership change was announced, and can’t wait to show Riverdale what we add to this area.”
Featuring candy, games and decorated vehicles, families and children of all ages will be invited to collect treats and participate in on-site activities. Several organizations will join the dealership on their lot as well, including iHeartMedia — who will set up a remote broadcast at the facility from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
As part of the festivities, Young Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Riverdale is also inviting local drivers to lend a trunk, and set up a vehicle for attendees to gather candy from. Those interested can either notify the dealership through their contact form or at their location before close of business on Oct. 23.
“There are a lot of awesome Mopar machines in this area, especially within the Jeep community,” said Sobers. “We’d love to have both new and vintage vehicles at the event, especially ones that highlight the legacy of these manufacturers.”
One of multiple Trunk-or-Treats held by the Young Automotive Group, the Riverdale event is set to include the company’s nonprofit, the Young Caring for Our Young Foundation. An organization dedicated to providing resources to children in need, representatives will set up a booth at the event to deliver information about upcoming initiatives.
News of the Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealership’s acquisition was announced on Oct. 20. Previously Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Riverdale, the location now serves as one of the Young Automotive Group’s four Stellantis operations, as well as one of their four franchises on Riverdale Road.
“The Young Automotive Group is a company known for its impressive expansion,” said Sobers. “With events like Trunk-or-Treats, we strive to let people know that we haven’t forgotten what’s at the heart of our success. We’re an organization that puts the community first, and we’re dedicated to being a valuable local resource.”
