Celebrating the introduction of a new franchise and manufacturer to their business, the Young Automotive Group will host a grand opening ceremony at their recently acquired Young Nissan Riverdale location on Oct. 9 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

The event — which will feature games, food trucks, a ribbon-cutting and a giveaway for Garth Brooks tickets — will begin with speeches from Young Automotive Group executives, mayor Braden Mitchell and Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce president Chuck Leonhardt. Representatives from local organizations will also be in attendance, including city police and fire department officers as well as Chamber of Commerce spikers.
“The Young Automotive Group is a company that puts the community first, so events like these are incredibly important to us,” said Brad Taylor, general manager of Young Nissan Riverdale. “We’re grateful to do business in this area, and we hope to show the public through both this ceremony and future endeavors that our impact extends beyond the showroom.”
Throughout the grand opening, radio station KBULL will set up a remote broadcast from the dealership — inviting the community to attend and fill out a form to win tickets for Garth Brooks Delta Center concert. Young Nissan will also offer lube and filter services for $49.99 all day to those who visit their location.
The Young Automotive Group’s sixth dealership on Riverdale Road, Young Nissan’s acquisition was made final on June 16. It became the family business’ first to carry new vehicles from the maker Nissan, bringing their total number of automotive manufacturers represented to 18. Following this grand opening, the organization will host a similar celebration for their new Young Kia facility on Main Street in Layton.
“These events are about far more than growth milestones. They provide our team with
a chance to thank our employees, our customers and our partners,” said Spencer Young Jr., president of the Young Automotive Group. “As a family business, we understand the importance of legacy, and we know that our achievements are only made possible by our ability to stick to our values and deliver an exceptional customer experience. When we grow, the employees who do this best receive greater opportunities for advancement, and develop in their careers. This is a proud moment for the Young Nissan team, and we can’t wait to see what’s next.”
