Did you know that YAG is sponsoring its own “Child Spree” event this Friday, August 9th, in Burley? It’s called Julie’s Clothes for Kids, in honor of Julie Breshears who passed away unexpectedly last year. We plan to serve 100 children in need from the Cassia-Minidoka school districts. They’ll shop with a Volunteer Shopping Buddy’s for much needed back-to-school clothes, shoes, socks and underwear, and they’ll all receive backpacks filled with school supplies, books and pantry packs.

Over 250 people will be volunteering at this event, and several corporate sponsors gave their time and money to make it happen. This is a great example of how we Engage and Support our communities.
