Commemorating the completion of their facility on Deseret Drive, the Young Automotive Group will host a grand opening celebration for their new Kaysville Truck and Trailer location on April 26 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The ceremony will be held at the dealership. Executives from the Young Automotive Group as well as Isuzu Commercial Truck of America will address attendees before they gather with the Davis Chamber of Commerce to cut the ribbon. Mayor Tamara Tran is scheduled to make an appearance, and vendors Mountain Donuts and Sweet Nothings will cater the event.
“We’re extremely excited for this opportunity to engage with the community,” Randy Taylor, Young Truck and Trailer’s general manager said. “This new facility is the future of our operation and will help us satisfy the needs of customers in a whole new way.”
The project was first announced on Dec. 15, 2022. A 44,695 sq. ft. facility, Young Truck and Trailer Kaysville will house both sales and service departments as well as products from 30 different brands. The dealership is equipped with 30 service bays, which Taylor says will help Young Truck and Trailer Kaysville eliminate wait times.
“This is an industry that we’ve seen a lot of growth in, and the Young Automotive Group has done everything they can to be at the forefront of it,” Taylor said. “We’ve outgrown the needs of a standard facility, and we know that this will become a staple location for the truck and trailer industry.”
Young Truck and Trailer of Kaysville’s grand opening coincides with the Young Automotive Group’s celebration of 100 years in business. Founded in 1924 by Seldon “Jack” Olsen, the company has grown from one dealership in Morgan, Utah to over 30 operations across three states.
The Young Automotive Group began their truck and trailer division in the late 1990’s — selling items out of what is now their Young Buick GMC location. In 2017, they opened their previous Kaysville dealership.
“Kaysville’s been an incredible city to work with these last few years,” Taylor said. “We’re so excited to stay here and be a part of this incredible community, and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone on Friday.”
This event is free and open to the public. Here’s a link to the invite. We look forward to having you join us for the celebration!
