Beginning operations at their recently established Riverdale Road location, Young Powersports Euro opened for business on July 1.
“It’s an honor to be able to welcome the Ogden community to this destination,” said Jeff Schoetz, general manager of Young Powersports Euro. “There’s no business quite like this in the area, and we’re excited to have people explore what these exotic machines are capable of.”
The dealership — which resides in a facility that once housed Young Subaru — carries machines from the manufacturers BMW, Ducati and Triumph, as well as parts, gear, accessories and apparel from a variety of brands. While their inventory features several machines, the vehicles that are expected to stand out most include their supersport, adventure, touring and cruiser motorcycles, according to Schoetz.
Established as the Young Automotive Group’s seventh operation in Ogden, the location serves as the first installment of what will become a powersports dealership campus. The company plans to move their Young Powersports Ogden operation from behind the NewGate Mall to the area in a facility located at 3920 Riverdale Road.
“One of our favorite aspects of this campus environment is accessibility,” said Schoetz. “Customers who visit us now have the ability to look through the inventory of two dealerships seamlessly, and better assess what fits their needs.”
To commemorate their entrance into the community, Young Powersports Euro plans to host a grand opening celebration on Aug. 1 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., which will feature a ribbon cutting, games, food, beverages and speeches from Young Automotive Group executives as well as representatives from manufacturers. BMW will have their motorcycle semi-truck present from Aug. 8-9 as well.
As the organization’s first dealer for BMW and Ducati, Young Powersports Euro adds two new manufacturers to the list of over 20 offered by the company. It also serves as Young Powersports’ ninth location, and third in Weber County.
Originally established by the Young Automotive Group in 2015 in Burley, Idaho, Young Powersports first entered Utah by acquiring dealerships in Ogden and Layton. They’ve since expanded to become one of the area’s premier names in the motorsport industry. Their flagship location, Young Powersports XL Centerville, is currently the largest dealership of its kind in northern Utah.

Young Powersports Euro can be found at 3990 Riverdale Road, and is open for business Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
