Marking their entrance into the South Weber community, Young Powersports Euro will host a grand opening ceremony at their Riverdale Road location on Aug. 1 at 10 a.m.

“This event represents a lot about our dealership,” said Jeff Schoetz, general manager of Young Powersports Euro. “Though we’ve only been here briefly, we’ve seen the tremendous impact that offering these machines has on Ogden. We look forward to showing others around us what we have to offer.”
Bringing in guests such as mayor Russ Porter, Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Chuck Leonhardt and executives from across the Young Automotive Group, the event will begin with a series of speeches as well as a ribbon-cutting. Those in attendance will be able to participate in games and competitions, as well as indulge in refreshments.
In addition to the Aug. 1 celebration, BMW Motorrad will have their motorcycle demo truck at the dealership from Aug. 8-9.
“Prior to our opening, the closest place to get machines from Ducati and BMW was near Salt Lake,” said Schoetz. “We’ve loved seeing the support that our manufacturers have offered us in our location, and it’s clear that they’re eager to engage with the riders here in Weber county.”

Young Powersports Euro will become the first installment of a new dealership campus. The location — which carries machines from Ducati, BMW and Triumph — will soon neighbor Young Powersports Ogden, who will move from their facility behind the NewGate Mall.
In addition to the Euro destination, Young Powersports is currently celebrating the openings of their two Missoula operations, which share the same facility. The acquisitions establish their presence in a third state, and bring the manufacturer Harley-Davidson into their operation.
“Our organization is known for its rapid growth, and that’s still clearly a part of our identity,” said Schoetz. “With Euro though and the two Montana dealerships, I hope people are able to also recognize that we’re setting new standards in our industry as well. Young Powersports is becoming a pre-eminent name nationwide, and our location will attest to why that is.”
The grand opening event is free and open to the public. For more information on Young Powersports Euro, visit https://youngpowersportseuro.com/
