Expanding their Weber County presence, the Young Automotive Group reached an agreement on Oct. 20 with Asbury Automotive to acquire Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Riverdale in Utah.

“This deal is one that signifies the start of a new chapter for our company,” said Spencer Young Jr., president of the Young Automotive Group. “Each action of our executive team is rooted in driving growth, and creating connections with new communities. We’re thrilled to be able to work with this location’s staff, as well as the customers who walk through our doors from this incredible street.”
Located on the border of Roy and Riverdale Road, the transaction was set in motion during the summer of 2025. Executives at the Young Automotive Group plan to rename the franchise Young Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Riverdale, and appoint Jacob Sobers as the operation’s general manager.
Though news of the acquisition is recent, it comes after efforts engaged in by the dealership’s team to connect with the community. From Oct. 15-19, the Young Automotive Group hosted their Duck Duck Jeep scavenger hunt in partnership with iHeartRadio. Drawing engagement from individuals across Weber County, participants were given clues through social media and radio shows to find a trailer and scan a QR code that entered them in a giveaway. Approximately $2,000 worth of prizes were set up for grabs, including items like a Nintendo Switch 2.
“The Young Automotive Group has always been a company that’s recognized the importance of investing in areas,” said Sobers. “One of the things we love about this new franchise is that we get to join four of our operations on Riverdale Road, and add to our impact in this setting. We cherish the relationship we have with this city and Weber County as a whole, and can’t wait to involve them more in our future.”
Following up on their scavenger hunt, Young Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Riverdale’s next event will be a Trunk-or-Treat at their facility on Oct. 25 — which is set to feature decorated vehicles, candy, activities and an iHeart Media remote broadcast from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Families and children of all ages are invited to attend, as well as owners of Stellantis vehicles who would like to set up a trunk.
An organization that consists of over 30 automotive and powersports operations across three states, Young Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Riverdale is set to become the Young Automotive Group’s fourth dealership to carry vehicles from Stellantis’ manufacturers. In addition to the acquisition, the company recently moved their Young Powersports Ogden dealership to Riverdale Road, which stands next to Young Powersports Euro in a new Weber campus.
“The Young Automotive Group’s mission of expansion is a continual one,” said Sobers. “Our organization stands dedicated in a pursuit of excellence, and delivering exceptional service to our communities. We have significant opportunities ahead of us, and can’t wait for what’s in store.”

Young Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will host a grand opening, and will announce the date through avenues such as social media. For more information about the Young Automotive Group, visit youngautomotive.com.
