Bringing some of the area’s most significant vehicles together for a cause, Young Collision Center and Young GMC Burley hosted a charitable car and bike show on Overland Avenue last Saturday.

“We had high expectations for this event, and were blown away by the turnout and creativity,” said Austin Bowers, manager of Young Collision Center in Burley. “Seeing so many families, students and car enthusiasts come together spoke to why we love this area. We’re grateful for the presence that was at this show, as well as the opportunity we had to support the community.”
The event — which was designed to generate proceeds for Burley High School’s agriculture department — began with vehicle stagings at 9 a.m. Judges walked through the entries throughout the show, scoring each for prizes. Those in attendance were also able to enter raffles for items by making charitable donations.
Following an afternoon award ceremony, the collision center and dealership worked together to stage their next event: a Trunk-or-Treat, where patrons were provided with the opportunity to visit decorated vehicles and collect candy.
“What we loved about having a full day of activities was that we got to engage with different types of people almost every hour,” said Bowers. “The Young Automotive Group is a company that strives to be a presence both in and outside of the showroom, and that starts with occasions like this.”

The Burley Trunk-or-Treat added to a list of similar Young Automotive Group events that were staged in Utah and Idaho, including one that was hosted at the company’s new Young Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Riverdale location. An organization that celebrated their 100 year anniversary last year, the business has expanded their presence throughout 2025 — most recently by acquiring Grand Teton Harley-Davidson in Idaho Falls.
“Many know the Young Automotive Group as a company that’s experienced substantial growth. That said, the reputation we’re most proud of is the one we’ve received for our quality customer service,” said Matthew Rosenlund, general manager of Young GMC Burley. “That starts with getting to know our customers like we have today, and being able to support them through both our industry expertise and our community endeavors.”
Proceeds from the raffles were dedicated to Burley High School following the event. Young Collision Center and Young GMC Burley made additional donations as well.
