“The more things you try, the more likely one of them will work. The more books you read, the more likely one of them will have an answer to a question that could solve the major problems of your life.” -Jack Canfield.
How are you doing in reading, studying and expanding on your knowledge?
Are you working on yourself?
It takes effort to read and study.
Employ the power of knowledge by engineering strategically your future self through reading and associating with the right people.
Consider this: You will be the same in five years as you are today except for two things–the people you meet and the books you read. The message here is powerfully accurate–because inviting these factors into your life is not just random but involves choices you make. Even when you have a setback or tragedy strikes your life, employing the power of knowledge (gleaned from the people you meet and the books you read) helps you get to another level in life and helps you be your best. In order to apply it, you must first acquire it.
What do you want to be like in five years?
The fact is that your actions and behavior follow your thoughts. If you thoughtfully engineer what goes into your mind and your heart, these factors of change will have an enormous impact on your ability to achieve your dreams and realize the best you can be.
Have a great day and remember begin working on yourself today, every day.

This is a great reminder – We have to focus on how we fuel our minds just as much as how we fuel our bodies in order to remain competitive, resilient and relevant.
Great thoughts! When I’m reading a book about sales or self improvement I rarely read something new or discover a principle I’ve never read about but I am able to apply the principle I’m reading about with more focus for that day because it is top of mind. As this discussion continues I would love to know what books have influenced everyone the most, maybe we can discover some new books to add to our library.

I also would like to see what some of the material is that people are studying! It will help in choosing good material. Love these thought starters, Thanks Spencer!
It is so difficult to keep on training yourself and learning. It is the easiest thing to just not do but is the last thing you should quite doing. Thanks for the great reminder to continue to Sharpen the Saw!
As a group (Oz marketing) we choose a book and then discuss what we have read every week. Its a great practice and expands our knowledge. It helps us open up to trying different things.
Knowledge is POWER! This is a very true statement. Thanks for the reminder.
I love this. I absolutely believe that reading, no matter what the content, exercises your brain to be more flexible to changes and challenges along the way.
Reading is not only informative, but it is a nice break from reality. Exploring others thoughts and imagination will help yours grow and mature as well.
Great post.
