“The difference between sanity and insanity from a given moment of being upset and angry for events that happen to you is usually a good nights sleep.” -sysr
This has been a mantra of mine for many years.
Mantra.…a word/pharse or sound repeated to aid concentration in meditation.
Usually…..under normal circumstances, generally.
Yes, I had a moment in time last evening where things went south at a meeting and my normal self reverted to a different person. It is hard as many of you may have experience in life that when offended, by words, or situations that happen can turn your mind and soul to the child you once were when you could not get what you wanted at that moment and you ended throwing a proverbial tantrum.
Tantrum…..an uncontrolled expression of childish anger: an angry outburst by a child or by someone who is behaving like a child.
Sanity…the condition of having a healthy mind. The condition of being based on reason or good judgement.
Thank goodness I had a good night sleep last night. Sanity is setting back in.
I share this with you for my own sanity as well as a real life sharing moment that you and I can continue to work on and that is surround yourself with good people, true people that can help you through a crisis or insanity and remember……”The difference between sanity and insanity is usually a good nights sleep.”
Make good things happen today,
Help a friend today,
Smile and love each other,
I certainly love all of you,

Without looking it up…..what does musing mean anyway?
What can you share with your fellow co-team mates today on my musing of the day?
We all have those moments when we wish we could have a do-over. Heaven knows I’ve had my share of them! The great thing is that we are surrounded by people who understand we are human and that we make mistakes, and that we are all doing the best we can, to be the best person we can be. We’re all in this together!
Without looking it up: Musing: to ponder on or discuss a subject or theme. Thank you for sharing this. I know many times I let my “heat of the moment” emotions get to me, but if I can just distance myself and and take some time to let my sanity set back in I am more able to make good decisions.
Pondering purpose
or collecting your thoughts….
Musing = Pondering. We all have had the moments in our lives whereby the child-tantrum has surfaced. It is good to know: 1) you still have the ability to be child-like 2) that passion lives inside of you 3) you are human! The definition of insanity is “doing the same thing over and over, but expecting different results”. The insane person would throw tantrums often expecting positive responses. The sane person will alter their behavior by learning from the past experiences.
