“If I had my life story offered to me to film, I’d turn it down. -Kirk Douglas
Douglas began this observation by saying, “Life is like a B-picture script.” His point was that there is a big difference between what actually happens in life and what people look for in films. When we examine a person’s life, there are clearly moments of great drama and excitement, but they are usually separated by lengthy–sometimes very lengthy– periods of dullness and lack of action. Alfred Hitchcock nicely communicated this idea when he once said, “Drama is life with the dull bits cut out.”
“If in youth we fell in love with beauty, in maturity we can make friends with genius.” -Will Durrant
Durrant offered this observation in his 1953 book The Pleasures of Philosophy. He introduced the subject by writing: “Each age, like every individual, has its own characteristic intoxication.” And then he added, “If play is the effervescence of childhood, and love is the wine of youth, the solace of age is understanding.”
“If God had to give a woman wrinkles, he might at least have put them on the soles of her feet.” -Ninon De Lenclos said in 1665
“If you’re given the choice between money and sex appeal, take the money. As you get older, the money will become your sex appeal.” -Katharine Hepburn
There are a few ifferisms of some famous people that I thought deserved a moment of thought.
I like ifferisms.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE WRINKLES COMMENT!!!!!!
Its amazing to me that as younger people the focus is on the less important things, and then as we age, we focus on the more important things. I wonder what makes us (when we are young) focus on the less important things??? Is it the media, culturally, peer pressure, lack of life experience etc??? Wonder how I can help my kid focus on the important stuff rather than the material/immaterial stuff…..ramblings of a crazy person……..
