Yesterday, YAG and Young Caring For Our Young delivered 150 fully stocked diaper bags, hundreds of hygiene kits and presented a $13,000 check to the Davis Education Foundation to be distributed and used to support the teen drop-in centers in the district. The group also stopped by the Intermountain Healthcare Layton Hospital to deliver 25 of the 150 diaper bags and 300 glass baby bottles to be given to mothers in need.
The diaper bags were assembled the last week of April by the central office employees during their Diaper Bag Derby. Thanks to the employees that helped assemble the bags and an incredible partnership with BrandX, the 150 diaper bags were filled with supplies like diapers, wipes, onesies, bibs, blankets and binkies.
Supplies for the hygiene kits were collected by all the Young Powersports dealerships during their Power Up To Fight Teen Homelessness event. The combined Young Powersports dealerships also collectively donated $13,000 to the Davis Education Foundation to be used to aid the teen drop-in centers in Davis County.
Thank you to all those who participated, donated, and continue to support the YCFOY initiatives. None of this would be possible without all of our amazing YAG employees!
