Celebrating the opening of their new facility on South Pioneer Road, Young Mazda Idaho Falls will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at their dealership on April 11 at 2 p.m.

“We’re incredibly excited to engage with the community for this event,” said Tyler Ross, general manager of Young Mazda Idaho Falls. “This building takes our operation to a new level, and we’re looking forward to showing people what they now have access to.”
Featuring face painters, lawn games, food trucks and a photo booth, the event will begin with speeches from Young Automotive Group executives as well as members of the Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce. Attendees will then be invited to tour the new 20,000 sq. ft. location, which houses a large showroom and over 11 service bays.
An operation established early into 2023, Young Mazda Idaho Falls previously resided on Holmes Avenue. Their former building has since been vacated.
“Our old spot served us well, and we loved the neighbors we had around us,” said Ross. “It was a temporary space, but I hope the relationships we built in that area will prove to be lasting.”
While their entrance into the east Idaho market is fairly recent, the Young Automotive Group first entered the state in the 1990s with acquisitions that later became Young Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat of Burley and Young GMC. The company also established their Young Powersports operation in the Burley market — a division that has since expanded to eight locations across northern Utah and southern Idaho.
Apart from completing the Young Mazda Idaho Falls building, the Young Automotive Group recently finished construction on a new facility for their Young Subaru operation in Ogden, and are developing a new space for their Young Ford Brigham City dealership. Leaders at the company will also be opening a corporate retreat in Morgan, Utah, known as the Mountain Creek Lodge.
“What I love about the Young Automotive Group is that our growth is continual,” said Ross. “We’re always growing, which leads to more opportunities for our employees as well as more chances to deliver an exceptional customer experience to new communities.”

Young Mazda Idaho Falls is located at 3420 South Pioneer Road in Bonneville County. The grand opening event is free to attend and open to the public.
