Aiding a financial pillar for families facing childhood cancer, the Young Automotive Group’s Hyundai and Genesis of Ogden dealerships will host a carwash fundraiser for the Bee The Hope organization on Nov. 8 from 12-8 p.m.

The event — which will take place at Young Car Wash on 3463 Wall Avenue — will be attended by individuals from the Ogden locations as well as Devils Pit Barbecue, who will set up shop on site. Each customer’s payment during the designated time will be donated following the festivities.
“This initiative is something that’s sparked excitement across our dealerships,” said John Burgett, general manager of Young Hyundai and Genesis of Ogden. “We’re excited to not only rally around a cause that we are passionate about, but to interact with amazing organizations and community members who share our passions.”
The Young Automotive Group’s first event with Bee The Hope, the funds raised will be used to purchase essential resources for families suffering financial burdens from cancer treatment costs. The initiative takes place after Young Hyundai and Genesis of Ogden hosted their Fill the Backpack endeavor in August, where they provided school supplies to approximately 675 students at New Bridge Elementary.
Last December, both Wall Avenue dealerships received attention for their charitable efforts after hosting their Christmas K9 Appreciation event — where they provided dogs on Ogden’s police force with gift bags and snacks.
“Ogden’s a special place for us, and it’s where we often turn any time we give back,” said Edith Hornsby, a customer service coordinator at Young Hyundai. “There are so many opportunities to do good around us, and with these initiatives, we strive to show people how easy it is to become a part of something you’re passionate about.”

Dealerships operating as part of the Young Automotive Group, Young Hyundai and Genesis of Ogden recently welcomed a new sister store to the Weber County area with the acquisition of Young Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Riverdale. In 2025 alone, the organization has added five new franchises to their list of locations.
“The Young Automotive Group’s growth is well-documented, and we’re proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish,” said Burgett. “As we expand, we make efforts to show communities that we’re not just another face. We’re something that can be depended on as both a resource for quality service and impactful endeavors.”
